Find us in the heart of the most important wine tourism area of Mendoza

Our winery is located in Perdriel, Lujan de Cuyo, about 30 minutes away from the city of Mendoza.

Upon entering we are greeted by our Malbec vines. The winery itself has been built in a modern classical style, surrounded by gardens designed by a landscape artist using native plantings and having the Andes mountain range as a backdrop.

The winery boasts the latest technology in the production of wines of the highest quality: small-capacity stainless steel tanks and cement deposits, each with independent temperature controls, enable a specific and detailed monitoring of each one of our wines. Ageing takes place in barrels of French and American oak.

The winery also has equipment which receives, sorts and selects the incoming grapes and subsequently bottles, labels and also packs the wine for shipment, thus allowing us to control quality at each stage of the wine making process.

We have obtained ISO 22.000 certification for our production process, confirming our objective of delivering premium wines which reflect exactly what nature offers.
Certifications

ISO 22000: FOOD SAFETY GUARANTEE

We have certifications of ISO 22.000 standards in our wine making process, which supports our philosophy of delivering premium wines that reflect exactly what nature offers. It outlines what an organization must do to demonstrate its capacity to control food safety hazards, in order to ensure that food is safe. Through this certification, we guarantee all of our consumers that there is no cross contamination in all the production of our products.

BPM: GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES IN FOOD INDUSTRY

In the case of BPM certification, the company’s situation is evaluated regarding its infrastructure, personnel, equipment, cleanliness and disinfection, quality system, services, and transportation. These guidelines are present in both the Argentine Food Code and Mercosur Resolution 80/96, as well as the IRAM NM 324 Standard for Good Manufacturing Practices.

VEGAN CERTIFICATION

After a thorough auditing process of our winery, we have obtained vegan certification, which we renewed in May 2023. By doing so, we not only reinforce our commitment to the environment but also to each of our customers, ensuring that no resources used during the wine production process have animal origins.

This certification symbolizes our production and lifestyle philosophy, as we are dedicated to environmental responsibility and respect for the flora and fauna of our land.

Our wines are crafted under the concept of minimal intervention, working with high-quality grapes and aiming to preserve the original quality of the product without adding any additional or external elements throughout the winemaking process.

ORGANIC CERTIFICATION

This valuable certification for the winery allows us to guarantee the quality of our organic product lines by verifying compliance with the relevant organic production standards based on the target market. Visit our section on organic wines in the store and learn more about each of them.

Currently, the scope of our certification covers the following markets: Argentina, USA, EU, and Brazil.

GLUTEN FREE PRODUCTS

Our company also has the “Gluten-Free” label on our entire range of products, which facilitates identification by consumers with celiac disease as a suitable and safe product.

This is an added value for the company as it demonstrates our commitment to a community that may face limitations in accessing suitable food products, either due to difficulties in identification or lack of safety in some cases.

SUSTAINABILITY PROTOCOL BY BODEGAS DE ARGENTINA

Our winery is certified under the Sustainability Protocol of Wineries in Argentina, which has both national and international scope.

The Sustainability Program for the Argentine wine industry aims to strengthen the environmental, social, and economic sustainability as well as the long-term competitiveness of the Argentine wine industry.

Our land

Vineyards – Lorca
The three vineyards which provide the grapes for Foster Lorca wines are located in the prestigious Valle de Uco, 100 kilometers (60 miles) south of the center of Mendoza. Valle de Uco is considered world-wide a prime grape-growing region due to its natural qualities. It lies 1,050 to 1,500 meters (3,400 to 4,900 feet) above sea level; the temperature may drop about 25º C (77º F) at night time and it offers an assortment of micro climates that allow the planting of different varieties – each with the specific conditions necessary to develop and reveal their essence.
Careful vineyard management and extensive green harvesting are applied, seeking to produce enough grapes per vine only for one or two bottles. The reduced number of grapes benefit from the concentration of tannins and vitality of the vines until the indicated time for the harvest. The drip irrigation installed uses water from the snow melt of the Andes, thus contributing natural nutrients and minerals to the soil and, ultimately, to the wines.
